Great Victorian road trip
I have grown up in Australia yet I've never visited so many of the places that make us famous to the rest of the world. I haven't seen the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, The 12 Apostles, Kakadu, so much more.
So I decided to do a Great Victorian road trip. I set off with a car for a week and one night's accommodation booked. I knew I wanted to reach certain places and I'd book accommodation each day based on how far I could get.
This was new for me, I had never travelled without a very set itinerary for transport and accommodation, so I had no idea how I'd cope with that. To add to the difficulty I was using my carry-on sized backpack to see if my packing list had everything I needed.
I started with the Great Ocean Road heading west, then north to the Murray, then drove east along the Murray to Bright. After Bright I drove over the Great Alpine Road to the Lakes District, then finished off in the Dandenongs before bringing it home.
I'd say it went pretty Great :)
